Nominations

Thank you for serving Classic City Church by helping to highlight men and women in our church body who have demonstrated qualities and disciplines that would make them fit spiritually and practically to serve as a leader in the role of a Deacon.

Biblically, 1 Timothy 3:1-13 helps guide us in knowing what qualifications we should look for in an Elder or Deacon who can serve a church well.

What does an Elder do?

Elders serve by leading. Elders serve with the Senior Pastor to govern the direction of the church by approving the church ministry plan and overseeing the ministry plan's implementation and progress.

What does a Deacon do?

Deacons lead by serving. Deacons focus on administering resources in areas such as stewardship, benevolence, and missionary support, as well as serving the congregation by meeting personal and physical needs.

Nomination Form

Please prayerfully consider nominating one or more people who you feel would be a great addition to the Deacon Board. The deadline to submit nominations is Sunday, March 1.
